GUIDELINES FOR CUSTOMER REQUEST TO REMOVE NAME FROM
MAILING LIST:

In order to make a customer’s name a permanent removal from not only our database but from
all other major database builders, the customer will need to send a personal request to the
Direct Marketing Association.

The DMA provides a Mail Preference Service for those people who want names deleted from
mailing list databases, and they provide a Telephone Preference Service for people who want a
name deleted from Telemarketing databases. It typically takes 90 days.
The DMA does not accept second party requests. Therefore, in order to accomplish the removal
of the customer’s name permanently, the customer must contact the Direct Marketing
Association at: (212) 768-7277 or visit www.dmachoice.org
